DESCRIPTION:Two days that do more than get you through the exams. \nThe in-person CORE course is the thorough route to BC hunter education: 16 to 18 hours of tuition covering everything the exams require\, from conservation and ethics to wildlife identification\, regulations\, first aid and firearms safety. \nThen it goes beyond anything a manual or online course can give you. You learn why the rules read the way they do\, and what it takes to become a repeatably successful hunter: the judgment\, the habits\, and the ethics that keep you safe and confident long after the two days end. You will not learn to hunt here; that journey starts in our Learn To Hunt program. Everything else\, you will learn to do safely on your way to becoming a repeatably successful hunter. \nYour exams are part of the course\, not an extra: the 90-question\, multiple-choice written exam and the practical firearms handling exam\, taken while it is all still fresh. Pass them\, apply through the BC Wildlife Federation\, and your CORE certificate unlocks the hunting licence and species tags. \nDay 1: 8AM to 6PM\nDay 2: 8AM to 4PM then practical exams for those who require them. \n
