CFSC (Canadian Firearms Safety Course) Non Restricted
The Canadian Firearms Safety Course also known as the CFSC is intended for all novice firearms users and is your mandatory first step in obtaining your PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence). The PAL allows the licence holder to possess and acquire non-restricted firearms and ammunition. These licences are typically valid for 5 years and require renewal after that time.
Here at On Point Training we offer the CFSC (Canadian Firearms Safety Course) portion of the application process. Once you have obtained the required pass mark for your CFSC, you can then apply to the CFO (Chief Firearms Officer) for your PAL (please note: a passport photograph should accompany your application and additional fees apply). All PAL/RPAL applicants are screened by the CFO, where background checks are carried out.
Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 7 days before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by phone or online. If you have to cancel your class, we offer you a refund if 7 days notice is given. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 7 days, you will lose the payment for the class.
