Introduction To Live Fire

Our Introduction To Live Fire course was created to meet the needs of the students that came to us with a common problem; taking the CFSC and getting a PAL is a lot of time and expense for someone that has never used firearms before but feels it is something they would enjoy doing.

We designed the course with the first time or novice shooter in mind so a large degree of flexibility is an inherent part of the offering. We start with an orientation of the range, safety procedures and basic firearms handling before moving on to shoot single-shot .22LR calibre rifles that have little or no recoil. How far we move through the calibres depends entirely on the student, as does the type of firearms used. We supply all firearms, ammunition and mandatory personal protective equipment. While we can offer the course to a group of individuals (a family, for instance), all shooting activity is 1:1 under direct supervision of the instructor.

You will be shown how to fire your first live shots in a safe, fun and friendly environment designed to rapidly build your confidence. With no pressure and always, with the emphasis on safety, we guarantee you’ll have a great time.

If you decide that you would like to apply for your PAL/RPAL, we offer a discount off the CFSC and CRFSC courses through On Point Training.
