Cookie policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This cookie policy explains how On Point Training uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.onpointtraining.ca (the “Website”), what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They allow the site to remember things between pages and visits — for example, what is in your shopping cart or whether you are logged in. Similar technologies include pixels, tags and local storage. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies.
Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by service providers whose tools we use, such as our payment processor, security provider and email provider.
Your choices
When you first visit the Website, a consent banner lets you accept all cookies, reject optional cookies, or choose by category. Necessary cookies run without consent because the Website cannot work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you consent.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the controls below, or the Manage consent link in the cookie banner. We store your choice and keep a record of consent so that we can show that we respected it.
Change your cookie settings
You have loaded the Cookie Policy without javascript support. On AMP, you can use the manage consent button on the bottom of the page.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary. These cookies keep the shopping cart, checkout, login and security features working. They do not track you for advertising, and they cannot be switched off through the banner.
Preferences. These remember choices you make, such as your cookie consent decision, so that you do not have to make them again.
Analytics. These help us understand how the Website is used — for example which pages are visited and how people move through the site — so that we can improve it. They load only with your consent.
Marketing. These help us measure email campaigns and understand whether our messages are useful. They load only with your consent.
We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies, and we do not sell personal information.
Cookies and tools on this site
Our consent tool scans the Website and lists each cookie, its provider, its purpose and how long it lasts in the consent banner. The main categories are:
WooCommerce and WordPress — cart contents, checkout session and login session. Strictly necessary.
Cloudflare — security and bot-protection cookies, including cookies used by Cloudflare Turnstile on forms and login. Strictly necessary for security.
Complianz — stores your cookie choices and the record of your consent. Necessary or preferences.
Brevo — email open and click tracking, and website tracking where enabled. Analytics or marketing, and only with consent.
The Google address lookup used in booking forms does not set cookies in our implementation. It sends the text you type to Google as described in the “Address lookup” section of our Privacy Policy.
When you pay, Square’s payment page may set its own cookies. Square’s privacy and cookie policies apply to that page.
Consent in your region
In Canada, we rely on your consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, optional cookies are opt-in: nothing optional loads until you agree. Where local law allows an opt-out approach, you can still use the banner or your browser to refuse optional cookies.
How to control cookies
You can also control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies, and some let you block third-party cookies separately. If you delete or block cookies, parts of the Website may stop working — for example, the shopping cart or login.
Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. You can also use private browsing to limit cookies during a session.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no consistent standard for how websites should respond, so we do not currently act on that signal. We do honour the choices you make in our consent banner.
Third-party links
The Website links to third-party sites, including Square, Google, the RCMP and the BCWF. Those sites have their own cookie and privacy policies, which we do not control.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change the tools we use or the law changes. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date.
