Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)

The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) is for people 18 and older who want to add restricted privileges to their firearm licence. To add these restricted privileges, you must pass the CRFSC.
If you already hold a valid Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) or you have taken and passed the CFSC course and have your course completion report (RCMP 5484), you can take the CRFSC on its own. If you haven’t taken the CFSC yet, you can take both courses together.
Why would someone want to take this course?
New to firearms? Start with the CFSC, or book both courses together; a popular option for students looking to get everything completed at once and save money on both course and application fees. We offer a $25 discount on the CRFSC when booked with the CFSC course.
NOTE: This course is subject to a minimum sales threshold, and we reserve the right to reschedule if less than 6 seats are sold 7 days prior to the event.
- Course dates may be added or removed in line with demand. Subscribe to our ‘New Course Dates’ email list to be notified.
- Generally, only the next available course is open for booking until it is filled.
- Use “Waitlist” to get an email when seats free up from cancellations.
- Read our Refund Policy page.
